Recently,
human-centered technology development is in the limelight. It reflects user
characteristics as much as possible and considers the physical and
psychological characteristics of humans even their current emotional state. This
paper describes the development of a living environment automatic control
system that analyzes a user’s status through an EEG of biological signals and
then intelligently controls the lighting, as well as the volume and selection
of music. It appears to be utilized in a variety of fields. For example, there
are intelligent apartments that provide a comfortable indoor environment as
well as energy saving, light therapy, and sound therapy, which are used to treat
conditions such as depression and somnipathy.
