Leap Motion has become widely used due to its ability recognize intuitive hand gestures or accurate finger positions. Leap Motion is also used with a head-mounted mounted display (HMD) attached to it because the technology is highly interoperable in this way. Thus, users have difficulties in performing a hand motion within range of to the HMD. In this paper, a method that calibrates an output area in the HMD display and a sensing area in Leap Motion is proposed. The difference in the origincoordinate between HMD and Leap Motion is Derived using the proposed method, and it can be applied to content using HMD and Leap Motion.
