We propose a speaker driving algorithm of multi-speaker system which provides the optimal sweet spot for the target listener’s position. Two speakers which are symmetric to the target position are first selected, and all speakers between them are also selected for the final driving speakers. Then, a cross-talk canceller for the target position which drives only the selected speakers is applied to the input. The objective and subjective evaluations verify that the proposed method provides larger sweet spot than the conventional method.
